Ice Jinx

It snowed here. Walla Walla has this weird cycle of snowing decently, lingering for a week, and then slowly melting. Then it snows again. This morning was particularly icy and as I was walking out of the dining hall I told my roommate,
“Okay Nelson, here’s what we do, we watch those guys and if they slip we know to be careful there.” A moment after I said that, the girl in front of us slipped on a patch of ice. Fortunately she caught herself, But the most important thing is that Nelson and I were okay.
